I've noticed that on other cars that the windshield frame is painted the same color as the car, but on my vert as well as the coupe & Z06 the windshield frame is black, is there a reason for this? Can the frame be painted the car color?
They're all black, regardless of body color, unless by "other cars" you mean Mustangs, Chryslers, etc. Looks better black - the idea is to not draw attention to the frame.

All the vettes are black, but by "other cars" I am also referring to Ferrari's, Porchses, Vipers, Mercedes and just about all cars except Vettes seem to have windshield frames same color, heck, even my Z71 Tahoe has body color frame. I think it looks more uniform body color and not black, just curious why Vettes frames are black.
I've always wondered this myself... I thought maybe the C6 would go that route. Seems like a lot of the hi end cars like porsche and ferrari, etc. have the windshield frame as part of of the body of the car... same color. I think it would be a good change.
