Default Chrome Screw Source?

I am looking for chrome screws for under the hood and trunk. Ecklers, Corvette Central, etc., have them for $75-$80. Has anyone found a source for these other than the Corvette catalogs? Thanks in advance.

Here is the link to Eckler's offering:

Here is a link. I think the screws are a little short but they work.

What about matching them up at a good hardware store...True Value has a large selection of chrome screws

Try a motorcycle parts counter at a metric dealer...NOT Harley Davidson..they are SAE. Also look up JP Cycles, JC Whitney,
http://www.jpcycles.com/ Not sure if this helps or not. Good luck.

You can get them in Torx, but then you are looking at major $$$. $80 for the front, $35 for the doors, $45 for the trunk. Since I am not doing a factory restoration, I am fine with philips.

Keep in mind these are stainless screws not chrome. Certainly a good price and a step up from the stock ones, but ya can't beat chrome. Yes I know the price is ridiculous, but what else is new with parts for our cars? Sent ya a PM.

Your welcome. I did mine last year, just the tail Lights alone look better.

The stock black screws were getting a white pitting on them.

Plus Stainless lasts longer than chrome. It all depends on the quality of the chrome plating. I went with stainless for this reason.

Good luck
