Default Why Are Dynatech Supermaxx So Cheap??

I'm curious??
Are they not as good as the rest or what's the deal why they're so cheap compared to the rest???

Anyone have issues or problems after having them installed and tuned??

if you buy them (long tube headers, free flow cats, x-pipe, + hardware) at carlisle thru mid-america, they offer 10% off the catalog price + free shipping. the catalog price is 1499, so $1350 delivered to your front door. now thats cheap!

I'm not going to do any free advertising for anyone, but I've seen them brand new for much less then that.........just under $1K
Maybe it's a special or something, but that's usually the price of headers alone, let alone cats, x-pipe, the works??

Just want to know why they're so cheap?? are they no good, you usually get what you pay for.
What gives?

Maybe the others are expensive In any case, they were used on my car and I think the quality is exceptional and the performance and sound you already know about.

Really!!! eeeeeeewwww, now I have to get them......maybe I'll get 450RWHP out of them too.
....okay, maybe not.
Sounds like a great deal though. I'm trading someone for an X-pipe, and was just going to get the LT's plus the stingers. Depending on how cheap I can get some LT's will determine whether or not I go with the Dynatech.

I've not heard any bad things about the quality of the Dynatech headers. They may not make as much HP as some of the others, but they don't cost a fortune either.

Why wouldn't they???
Are not all LT's created equal??

Actually, now that I checked into it even more, only the headers them selves are less the $1K, the full set of pipes are around $1200-1300. sorry for the mix up, I thought they sounded to cheap to be real.

Dynatechs are great headers. I had no issues with them at all. Great performance and an awesome sound. I am going a different route now because I am going with a bigger cube motor so I am going with a 1 7/8" headers.- O'Neal

Dynatech Supermaxx kick a$$. I got mine from Nate at Corvette Garage (a CF vendor) for $1350 during the last GP. Beautiful build quality, excellent packaging and documentation, killer sound and it pulls like a freight train.

I have the Kooks 1 7/8", but all the Dynatechs I have seen have been flawless! I think they are priced more accurately than the others.....ie...the others are way over priced.

Forgive any ignorance, but what's the point of ceramic coating??
Just for smoother air flow?? or is it for heat disipation?

I thought the ceramic was for the heat

my experience is ceramic is good for chipping off during install and burning off and rusting after install

but thats jsut me

im in the market for a set of stainless Dynatches or LGs now

You sure it's not just the headers that you see for a $1000? i know a lot of sites that sell them for around a 1000 but after you add the high flow cats and the x pipe, it goes up about 400.
