Don't get me wrong. I'm sure it's just business for Ken at Vette Shoppe. But for $120. To do it myself only cost me $15 in paint supply.( Plastic primer, color paint and clear coat) Although mine did not exactly match as said on my first post. But I'm satisfied and close enough for me. Nothing against vendors though.
I had them included in my 10 piece set, because I did not want the air bridge. Otherwise, I am right with you...a can of paint and a little time.
My headlight Bezels are also painted body color, Sebring Silver. I removed the Bezels and bead blasted them to remove any oil or silicone or wax film and put a 'tooth' on the plastic to help make the paint stick. A little plastic primer and rattle can exact matching paint, it was done. I still have to do the adjuster hole caps, they are not yet re-installed as of this writing.
My airbridge is still black, but with the Hallteck logo it came with..... I have thought about painting it though, but not made up my mind about it.
