Default proper ride height

anyone have the info from a 2003 manual as to how to check ride height at each wheel?

my 2003 vette is at the dealer. The way I measured ride height was:
1.ground to bottom of air dam. I found specs from 3.7-4 and mine measures 3 3/16 inches.

2.top of rim to fender
I found specs of front 5 3/4 and rear 6 1/8
my rears are 5 14/16 and 6 7/16

3. ground to bottom of wheel well
I found specs of front 27 1/2 rear 28 1/2
my fronts are 27 7/16 and 27 1/16
my rears are 28 9/16 and 28 13/16

dealer says that off GM website for their techs the proper method is ground to chasis and my car is within specs

anyone ever deal with ride height? Is the dealer trying to avoid fixing a problem?

Measurments are taken from the ground to just behind the jacking puck points on the frame.

Both the front and rear points.

Fronts should be 4-5 mm lower then the rear for proper aerodynamics. Equal left to right With you in the drivers seat. so the left side may be a tad higher when you are NOT in the car.

Measurements with about 1/2 tank of gas too.

sdef: seems like you are off by 3/8 inch side to side...this would kill me I freek out at a 1/8 inch difference.

I had a SS Camero which was off by 1/2 inch and dealer would do nothing.....they said it could be off by 1 inch

AU N EGL: I would think that a full tank would give the most accurate and rpeatable measurements since gas is not consumed equally from both side tanks
