proper ride height part II
the procedure is 5 pages to measure the trim height.
page 1 is interesting since it says it is for a 2003 vette and to do the procedure you should remove the spare tire. has anyone seen this invisible spare tire that GM refers to?!!
the front is measured from lowest point of ball joint to center of lower control arm mounting bolt. the spec is different depending on what model car you have.
the rear is measured in a similar way.
note for those lowering their cars- one complete turn of the rear adjustment bolt is 5/64 (2mm) of an inch in height.
if anyone wants a copy of this let me know and I will scan it and email it to you.
Also if your shock stuffers were not removed when you bought the car, then trim height was also a dealer prep item and may not have been completed.
