HIDs don't light up.

Got my lights today. Hooked up the low beam connector to the ballast, and then hooked up the male and female plugs from the ballast to the bulb. Did the same on the other light. Turned headlights on and neither of the bulbs light up. Keep in mind that I did a test run and the bulbs weren't removed from the clear plastic containers that they ship in. Any ideas what's wrong?????

Unplug the factory harness from the HID bulb harness reverse it and plug again

These suckers are bright...

But now the pop ups only go down half way.

Check if any of the new harnesses are not in the way of the mechanism. I am talking about the new HID bulb harness. Where did you mount the ballasts?

put your high beams on and turn off the lights,some times I have the same problem and this is the only way they work see if it works for you.

Not in the way of the mechanism. THey go down manually with no problem. I'll try your advice Gabe but I hope I don't have to turn them off that way all the time????
