I thought the Vararam had some narrow channels between the inlet and the filter? Ram air might be a myth but apparently it has enough force to ram a bird...

I didn't know I sucked in the bird until the in the yearly filter cleaning. Since the bird was quite mummyfied, it could have been there for 2 weeks or more. And there was no damage what so ever to the filter, I am not too worried and I am not changing a thing. I had blackwing before and Vararam is a better product for me.
