Now that's impressive! Great job. I can't wait to see the write up. I've always wanted a HUD for my '97 but just couldn't seem to go to the trouble of getting a new cluster and having it programmed. I can't begin to express how impressed I am.

Good job. I hope that the battery effect is not a result of a short in the cluster or HUD that you will have to go back in to fix!

WOW!! I can't even tell you how excited I am about this - I've been reading everything I can about doing the HUD install - got so excited to do it - then realized I needed a new cluster / reprogramming - then got so depressed. Let us know the status of the battery and get the Step by Step Directions and Pics up ASAP!! Great work and thanks for sharing!!!

Now the delema!

SO, right now I have a Z06 cluster painted red with HUD installed in my 98 Corvette! (which all should know is not possible as Z06 did not come out yet and its a vert to top it off). My problem is the odometer reading and I was hoping somewhere there was a discussion on swapping what ever unit that is in. I really like the style of the Z06 cluster. Does anybody know what unit is used on the cluster for holding odometer reading and has anybody tried this?
