But a while back I broke my rear end. Today I took it out and here is what it lloks like. Messed up part is that the rear casing is the pnly part that broke on me. Bad part is that the output shaft from the tranny snapped like a twig.
All of that stuff looks familiar... I did the same thing to my car. Diff and trans in 5 pieces!! I carry that broken output shaft in the trunk of my car even now.

What did you guys do to fix them. Did you send the tranny off or jsut get a new one. I am thinking I can just get a new housing for the rear end, but that is prolly wishfull thinking huh. I will prolly just send the rear end off. Sad thing is I am not running as much power as you guys. I know most of it was wheel hop but still. This does suck. Its gonna sit for a while it apears
sorry to hear about your damages....but a question for ya...can't these cars handle around 500 horsepower without having things like this happen??? parts breaking because the car is has too much power my goal was to have about that much by the end of next year but if damages like this frequently occur i don't think id be able to keep up with the repairs

My biggest problem was wheel hop and having it with teh Nitto DR's on. If I would have had street tires or ET Streets it would have been much less of an issue I think. But the wheel hop was more of the cause then the power. IMO. But then again when I break things its never jsut a little break.
