Default HELP - Check Engine Light on

Need some help please...the check engine warning light has come on. It's not blinking, but steady. I've put in fuel injector cleaner, new gas, ect...seems to go off for a while, but them comes back on. I've noticed that when I get gas, there is no presure when I open the gas cap...I'm sure this might have something to do with it. The codes listed on the DIC are as follows: 10-PCM po410 H C , p1415 H, p1416 H, 40-BCM 85583 H, 99 - HVAC 80361 H C . I think I read where the H means history, but I'm not sure so I listed everything. Thank you for any advice you can give ! Jeff

You might be on the right track. You should start with a new gas cap. This will cause a check engine light and some of the codes that you are seeing for the PCM. You are also right about the H, it is a history code. Here is one site that I use to check the codes. There are others that are more complete for newer cars.

http://97vette.com/howto/codes/index.html

PCM
P0410 AIR System
P1415 AIR System Bank 1
P1416 AIR System Bank 2

HVAC
B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I did buy a new gas cap as well. I thought a better seal of some type might solve the problem. No luck with it yet. Thank you for the web addr. I've been running back and forth from the computer to the car reseting and clearing codes. When I went to clear the HVAC codes, I could hear things moving in the dash! Thanxs for the help...any additional advice is appretiated. Jeff

Hmmm, now that I know what HVAC stands for that explains the sounds behind the dash...it's trying to fix something...but the codes keep coming back. I'm more worried about the PCM - p0410 code ( secondary air injection system )...Any ideas what his might be? Related to engine or the HVAC system ? Thanxs-Jeff

Default Check engine light

Look under the battery for vacuum lines that might be damaged. Perhaps the myriad of codes could be caused from a vacuum leak?
