I conveniently located my air compressor right beside my workbench. When I back into the garage it's just to the left rear of the Vette. Less than a minute each time I back in and the rear is fairly clean again.
No need to spend that kind of money. I got the exact same seals from Lowe's. It's 1/4" teardrop weatherstripping with an adhesive that sticks to the taillight. A roll long enough to do probably 3-4 cars costs about $15.
