But for me, it's harder to recognize a C6, I can spot a C5 a mile away.
I'm getting better with spotting the C6's. So the sooner I get the wave up the sooner the C6'ers will learn to wave.
If one is approaching, I usually assume it's a late model F-body mainly due to the high placement of the DRL's and exposed headlights. By the time i see the silhouette and realize it's a Vette, it's too late.
I miss a lot of C6's on the road...but do wave to the ones I happen to notice.
A car slowly passed us and in the back seat was a boy around 7 or 8 years old. He had a matchbox (or hot wheels) corvette that he held up for us to see. His eyes were huge as he looked at each car as they passed us. After the shock of that attack, seeing that boys eyes and the look on his face was tonic for the soul.

ive never owned another vehicle that gets more waves. well except my truck but those waves are from people admiring it, rather than other truck owners.

Really great story! Once in a while I get a 'kid' interaction and its the BEST!
Had a 1961 corvette in the late sixties...Every vette owner waved then. Now it is probably 60% of them will wave....I figure about another 25% don't wave because they are using their cell phones! Pain in the *** to talk and shift at the same time isn't it? Now add the wave into that.....
