I like the black however it is impossible to keep clean. I am going with red next time. I have had a dark metallic blue 69, a white 87, and a white 98, now the black 97. I get tired of the same color after a while. My favorite corvette colors are black, torch red, electron blue, and millineum yellow.

Know what you mean my DD 02 Silverado is Victory Red and my '98 C5 was TR. I still ask myself why I traded for black.

BTW Hey Vern! Dealer about 3 miles from me has a fully optioned VR C6 vert with Black top (manual, blk top, no market adjust.) which I looked at this afternoon. Just wish I could justify taking the hit. Bob

Dark colors are hard to keep clean. I had a White C3 that always looked clean, even when it wasn't.

But it's a labor of love. I just lova the Anniversary Red color.

In my sig pic, my car is very dirty. It's more fun to drive Annie than detail her.
