When you say they painted over the Dot Matrix what exactly does that mean? Is it a clear paint or something?

No it's black to match tint. On the Zo6 there is only a little of this at top the headliner hides this area when looking through mirror so you don't notice it. When viewing from out of vehicle it blends very well with dark tint. On the coupes I understand there is a dot matrix on top and bottom this will limit viewing area of the window.

I had black vinyl over the dot on my coupe and tint the rest. Guess that adds up to 2 pcs but the vinyl sticks with no problem. The splice is not really a sight line issue..........
