Low coolant sensor?

Low coolant sensor?

Is it possible the for coolant sensor to fail? My display keeps telling me "Low Coolant" but after checking, the coolant is at the correct level. Is there a way to check the sensor? Or could this be a different issue?

Had the same problem on mine. Added about a 1/2 cup of coolant anyway and low coolant warning went away. I guess they have a tight tolerance.

The float in the tank can get stuck. I had the same thing happen to me. I had to replace the tank. It comes with a new sensor

happened to me. you have to replace the whole reservior. easy job, $60 from dealership

Had that to happen on our 99 put in 1 cup of coolent went
away. Might be all that is wrong with yours. GOOD LUCK

Mine will do this if only I am on a steep grade. Better check out the level this weekend just in case.
