my front fikse wheels (zo6 style) will not take sensors due to way rim made, question is can I run only the back sensors without getting messages of front error etc., turn only the back on-will this work????
No sensor...you are going to get the message. I tried to clear the code, but was not successful in doing so...similiar to what you are asking. I had sensors not reading and wanted to just tune them out or remove a fuze, but no go.

Nope. If your car is a model year 2001 or later, you can have your dealer edit/delete the tire pressure monitoring programs from you car's computor so you don't get the error message. For earlier model years, you're out of luck.

Why not have the extra degree of warning when a tire has low pressure. I think there will be a day soon when the government makes TPS standard safety equipment on all cars.
thanks guys, once again forum members come thru with the answer, i agree in the very near future all cars will have tire pressure sensors, think i read around 2008, due to firestone fiasco. thanks again for responses
