Nyte's 04 Millenium Yellow Convertible, ongoing coverage...
I'm from Orange County California and traveled 200 miles north to steal it for $41,000. It had 5,500 miles on it about 45 days ago and I'm just about touching 10,000. Yeah I drive the hell out of this thing!
First day, first picture!...

Me, Big Bear...

Here's both of my very expensive new toys! The Vette and the house I just bought in March...

I don't know if my bank account can handle "mod fever" times two!
The Vette has FE1 Base Suspension, A4 Automatic Transmission, and 1SB Equipment package. I already put in a Window Valet from Elite Engineering. (Thanks guys!)
You guys better be subscribing 'cause everytime I upgrade this thing you'll see it here first! I'm going absolutely stupid on it for the next three months so stay tuned for:
- New rims and tires
- Rotors
- Painting the calipers
- Removing the spears
- Lowering about 2 inches
- Chrome exhaust plate
- Air dam screen
- PERFORMANCE hood seal!
I don't need to tell you this Corvette is powerful. I will die in this car.
I've only been driving for five years and I've only owned [in order] a 1988 Toyota Pickup, 1987 Camaro, 1984 Pontiac Fiero, and a 1992 Chevrolet S10 Blazer; so this car is a MAJOR upgrade! I still have the Blazer, "the 9~Deuce", and plan on keeping it forever. Right now it's a workhorse but I have huge plans for it in a couple of years.
My Vette and my friend's lifted Avalanche...

Congratulations and Welcome. What a beautiful Vert. And, in MY: very, very Sharp. Your new home is also lovely. And, is one of the best investments that you will ever make in your lifetime. Good Job! Keep us in touch with your mods. As we say here on the CF forum: To mod one's Vette is to live. And, to mod is fun. Enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

Best Wishes,
Eden
I've got an '04 as well and live about 80 miles south of you.
You'll have a great time doing upgrades; especially the hood seal! If you can afford it, buy a fender seal like the ones used on either fender and use if for the hood seal. Its much thinner and looks like its factory installed as it matches the other two exactly. You'll have to trim a couple of inches off it before you install it. Here's a link to a thread with a couple of links to pictures: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1115602
My initial mods have been:
CLB
CAG
Velocity stack
Blackwing
Ti (Z06) cat backs
A few decals here and there
Hurst (Oops you've got an auto)
Full interior insulation for heat and sound
Drilled 'n slotted Delco brakes
Painted calipers and rear swaybar
Z06 swaybars - "A must!" And shocks if you don't have the Mag. Selective Ride Option
MY fuel rail covers
A few other odds and ends
Good luck! Have fun!
When I was 24 this is what I owned (pd $50 for it!), note suicide front doors. Actually was a fun car. Had an optional crank start! Its a Renault 4CV BTW.

Yeah I have crazy exhaust plans within a year. But I want to get all that other stuff DID first.
You'll have a great time doing upgrades; especially the hood seal!
Remember to
No.

From another '04 MY vert. This one's an MN6,Z51,1SB in NY. I wish that I could drive it all year long too.
