Removing the alternator bracket on a C5
OK, how tricky is this? I know the power steering pulley has to be removed and there are special removal/install tools for the pulley. There does not seem to be much space to do this without removal of other parts. Is this something that should be left up to those who actually know what they are doing?

Good question! I anticpate removing mine to have it chromed. The pulley shouldn't be a problem as long as it isn't plastic. Small pullers for wheel bearings would need to be used and they aren't that expensive. I've seen them at all major auto parts stores. Beyond that I think it is just the serpintine belt that is in the way. Lets see what others say.
