Just an update---and I will update my other two threads as well...

I have a complete set of C5 headlights to work with (thanks to a forum member) and they will be dropped off for preliminary design work on Friday. I have two modules needed for proper sizing and mounting. Once we have an idea of the time required to build and expense, then I will build a prototype set and have a cost.

Just a quick update. We have finished our prior project and are beginning to focus the c5. We are still waiting delivery info on the projectors in the USA.

Here some pictures of our product for the SS/Caprice. Just an indication of what we can do-

Looks quite impressive. However, when will it be available? And, what will be the retail cost? How easy are the bulbs, etc., to replace and service? Where are these headlamp assemblies made? Thank you for your interest in helping to make available a better C5 lighting system.

I can't answer the availability question yet...there will be different packages available depending on what you want... a pop up package with halogen projectors and high beams should be under $700- HID is unknown at the moment as I am waiting for Final pricing on the modules. Bubls are easier to replace than what you have now and are common. The headlamps are made in the USA (Seattle) optics are from Germany.

What's the difference between these and the kit you are offering as far as the high beam is concerned? Also, I am planning to get my kit installed on Friday (at last) when I am off and the weather is expected to be mild. Have you finalized the installation instructions?

Thanks

It would be same layout as you have but would have a xenon high beam also. I would have to remove projector from another kit and install in the C5 kit. It would basically scrap a full kit from a hummer. So it wouldn't be cheap. For someone who owns my kit already upgrade would be about $400 exchange including new main harness also you would need to make a t84 harness plug for car. You would have to do all of the swapping and ship your projector back to me after replacement.

I would be almost willing to do this if it were plug-n-play. I'm not brave enough to make my own connectors. Do you need/want a guinea pig

Brian:
I am still pondering this but need to make a decision pretty quick as I planned to get my lights in this week. Any feedback?
