I drove my vette last night and park for 5 mins to run to the store and when i got back in and started it up, it started sputtering like it wasnt getting enough fuel or something under even slight acceleration. I wasn't flooring it or anything, just a normal amount of throttle to get onto the road. I immediately thought maybe it was an injector, plug or even fuel filter. I dont feel like its anything huge but a shuddering vette under normal throttle is not something i wanna mess around with. Anyone have any ideas about whats going on?
Has it been raining a lot where you live? Not on my Vette, but on an 01' truck I have it did the same thing and turned out to be water around the plugs, coils, etc.
Is it possible you have a loose plug into the coil packs on one bank??? (the white one in the middle)
Did you did any work to the car lately and didn't get one plugged back in all the way and now it's worked loose or is barely connected causing no spark to one side? That seems like a lot of no spark but it may run with only half of it working...???
I've seen it on 4 cylinder cars.. Some have two coils, take one away and it stills runs. very poorly but it runs...
