Default Need some tire advice.

Hey everyone It looks like I will be needing new tires. I have Bridgestone firehawk runflats. I am wondering. I dont use the Vette as a daily driver but I dont want to run into any problems. Do I really need to buy runflats again or can I go with a new set of Kuhmos or something? I mean I see a lot of positive responses on tire rack about the MX's. I just dont want to buy a cheap tire if its going to screw me down the road. Thanks for your input.

I really enjoy my Goodyear GSD3s (Excellent dry AND wet traction, as well as better-than-average resistance to wear). They may not be as cheap as Khumos, but I do see this everytime at look at my Maggie!

I plan to buy the non-runflats. The sidewall on the runflats is stiffer to provide support when out of air. I want a softer sidewall to provide a better ride. I plan to do some autox races and I'd like a stickier tire like the Kuhmos. I had Kuhmos on a Miata I autoxed and I was satisfied with them. Others on the forum have expressed satisfaction with the Kuhmos too.

I went from Firehawks to Kuhmo's this year. Great tires and I carry a plug kit, a ac powered inflator, and most importantly a cell phone to call AAA.
