cleaning my vert top
I have an o3 shale vert top and was wondering about, well they look dirt lines low and towards the back on the side. It looks like it is almost rubbing on something when you fold down the top. Does anyone know what to use to clean the vert top. Thanks so much for your input.

I have an '02 vert with a black top.... I have a few spots that look like wear on the top and prolly caused by having the top folded up and in the "boot". Mine is canvas and occasionally I wash it with a very mild soap solution. Less scrubbing the better..... I had a vert C-2 that I used to put a folded towel between the canvas folds as it went into the boot. Try that.

A shale top will be harder. Mines black.

Use convertible top cleaner. Either Raggtopp or Aerospace 303 cleaner . Spray on. Let soak, brush in with a stiff scrubb brush, rinse well. When dry add the protectant/water repellent

mine also has what looks like wear marks on both sides ,and its black also .in fact they are starting to look like white spots .oh well i guess if id put the top up it wouldnt rub .i seem to never have the top up though.
