Chances are that most dealers don't even know what a CAGS Eliminator is so they probably completely misunderstood what you were asking. Since it is only an after market device they definitely wouldn't have one in stock.
If I remember correctly I mentioned one at my dealership and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

...when dealerships do this sort of thing its not longer overcharging......it is stealing plain and simple

Name the dealer/shop - so that others can avoid them like the plague.
They are ripping you off!
DIY, takes less than 5 minutes, and if you have a clean driveway it really can be done without raising the Vette (unless you have a real beer belly
).

I agree with all of the dealer rip-off comments. I have no idea what the CAGS eliminator costs, but all you have to do is step on the gas and not shift for like 5 seconds and you avoid the 1-4 economy shift all together. I suppose it could be a problem if you drive in very heavy traffic, but otherwise I have had it come into play twice in 8K miles and I do not have a lead foot.
