Default Retro Badging?

Just curious what you guys think of using "older" corvette badging on a C5. In alot of other circles, its kindof a cool tribute to the days of old by swapping out your logos for the older ones. I know a ton of F-body and mustang guys do it.

No I have not done it, but I think a nice early C3 badge on the front bumper in lieu of my C5 one would be pretty nice looking.

And no its not pretending, IMO, its just having a little variety.

I honestly already knew what you guys would say

But older 69 Z28 and SS badges do look sweet on newer camaros. And older Turino GT badges look nice on mustangs.

Personally, I'm actually all for the "logoless" look, but also realize the front of a white C5 would look pretty stark w/o a logo.

Some retro 427 emblems would look nice on a blower hood. If you had a blower hood and a 427 to go with it.

An "R Type" sticker would really set it off!

Nope......I agree it's nice to honor the past, but not to the extent of swapping badges. Just my .02

I haven't seen it done yet, but IMO it could look good if the right emblems were used. If you like it, go for it.

Not for me either - personally, I think the C5 logo is one of the best looking of all times. Some of the older ones are okay - the C6 logo....

I used a "retro badge", or emblem, for the front. I purchased it from Ecklers, because it was cleaner looking, than the badge that came on the car. I was not thinking about another generation. I just thought the badge looked good. I removed the emblem from the rear.

I think it would look cool.. do it if you want... and post some pics...

Nobody will know the difference besides vette owners.. and then it will make your vette stick out some... its not like your putting a vette emblem on a Camaro... or a z06 on a coupe... its still a vette emblem.. just an older model one... DO IT!!!
