Bet your car is beautiful. That's barely 100 miles a month!
I drove mine over 6k in just two weeks in July. That must be one pampered Vette.
5k in four years. You should have bought a 1:18th diecast, you could have saved a ton of money. Glad your happy with the Corvette but man, take it on a trip once in a while and really enjoy that car.

I've been trying to say that for a long time but, just couldn't put the words together... Well said
I have an '02 M.Y. Vert six speed which until recently when I was diagnosed with tongue and throat cancer (between stage 3 & 4) was driven only on weekends and to club events. Since my diagnosis in May, it has basically become my daily driver as I now drive it to my radiation treatments twice a day (about 75 miles total). I decided when I heard my doctor mention the "C" word in the same sentence with my name that the time to quit saving the Vette for someone else had suddenly arrived.
I will have my last radiation treatment today and my last "chemo" treatment next week. Although I hope and pray that I will survive this dreaded disease, the realization that I should enjoy the Vette while I can has really sunk in.
I had that in the first 2 months of my 2000 coupe. I now have 136000 miles on it and still run high 12's at 108. It will take you 26 years or so to get the enjoyment out of driving that I have had in 5 years.

My 2001 pewter is closing in on 37K. Try to enjoy your car more.
The real JOY of Vette ownership is the driving time. Having a clean, low milage car in the garage is a very low joyfull experience compared to the thrill of driving an American Icon down the road with a big smile.
