Default Which Optima Redtop is best??

75/35

or

34/78?

Optima lists both for a 2000.

I guess the only difference is the 75/35 is 720 CCA and the 34/78 is 800 CCA.

Yes, one of the differences is cold crankling amps. The other is the size, the 34/78 is slightly bigger and heavier that the 75/25 or 75/35.

All will fit. I have the 75/35 and it's been fine for almost 2 years.

Don't know which is better, but I have been running the 34/78 for almost four years with no problems whatsoever.

Hi Flying Ace -

I chose the 800 cca one. Price difference was nominal.

I bought it at Autozone.

I just bought the 800 cc battery from Sam's after my delco crapped out. It seems to be working good.

I got a 34/78 at Sam's Club. I also got a snap on cover at Mid America to cover the top posts.

I have the 34/78 and it's heavier, and a little larger than the 75/35.
