Getting Frustrated! Now leaking gas!
I put it up on ramps and under the left tank is an aluminum pan with little slots cut into it, and they are damp with gasoline...not dripping mind you, but weeping enough to keep them damp with a little gas hanging wanting to drip. I thought maybe they put gas in and spilled some through the overflow, so I ran about 50 gallons of water through the overflow (the drain under the fuel filler) to rinse the fuel from whereever it goes. Water ran out from those same slits in the aluminum pan...I drive it to dry the water out and this morning it is still reeking to high heaven of gasoline.
So...what to do? Take it in??? ANyone have anything like this? If I drop the wheel well liner can I see what's going on? Anyone know how accessible the hoses to the left tank are with the wheel well out? Is it easy enough to pull the wheel well out? Or will the tank need to be dropped?
ANY advice at this stage would be a great thing...

you will need to remove the aluminum covers to get to the fuel pump..
...then to the fittings...

OOH! Any info on that would be appreciated! I'd have to take something to the dealer though to give them a heads up, since I haven't had any notice yet...
