Default Exhaust install ?

Finally have a set of GHL's on the way with very few miles on them, yay!
I am going to have access to a lift so height is not a problem. Do you remove both sides of the sway bar to install, or is one side enough for clearence. I do not want to cut anything and want to keep original exhaust. I assume you can use all the original brackets/hangers etc.
Thanks.

You have to undo the bracket on both sides of the sway bar and you can fold the swaybar down. If you have a MN6 then you should be able to work the original catback out. The left side was no problem the right side took a minute to wiggle past the Diff. It seems for an Auto you may have to cut the pipes. In all it should take an hour max. The DIY (tech tips) has some directions. Good luck & the GHL's should sound great

If you have the auto (which I do) you can remove the heat shields and that will give you enough clearance to remove the system without cutting the pipes. It takes a few extra minutes but it is not that bad.

I should have included a little more info. I have a 2004 mn6 with less than 4k miles so everything should be pretty easy. I was under it recently for an oil change and it looked pretty simple. I guess this is what people mean by good service from GHL. He posted to call him for advice on a used set!!!
Thanks everybody!

Steve,
I don't know if you remember me, but you PM'ed me asking about my opinion of my GHL Bullets. This was about 8 months ago! So I see you finally decided to try them. I think you'll like em...good luck on the install. I did my own and it's not very difficult at all.

Here's a link to what I used to help me through the install,

I have been very pleased with the assistance provided by Brian and Jeff when I have called with a question. My only minor gripe is that tips on the 3.5" Bullets are different lengths, but they provided no instructions stating that. Maybe by blind luck I got them on the correct side of the car, or maybe it would have been obvious if I had gotten them on wrong. Regardless, I think that is something you would let people know.
