[Z06] factory carpet

factory carpet
im looking for factory carpet to make an amp rack like this one link to picture and to recover my jl audio stealthbox center cover. where do i get it and whats the going price?

5 inches? if i try and make it there will be seams all over the place. i need to cover my jl audo center compartment cover and make this amp mount. i may try the local place tomorrow to see if they have a decent match

A local upholstery shop should be able to hook you up. I actually went the cheaper route and bought roll carpeting at OReileys. It seems to be a good carpet and matches really well. Especially at $9 a roll.

WOW and I thought his partitions were high!! Hate to have to buy a yard of leather. I don't think I will ever get used to this corvette tax.

I found this after a little searching. Its from a closed thread. Thiis a reply from Z06PARTS back on 7-21-05.

As the C-5 Z06 cam to an end so did the manufacturing of all the materials,contract with gm and supplier no longer exists.
We bought a 3 year supply(1500 yds or 2.5 partitions per yard) when word came down the pipe that it would no longer be available.We are the only location for OEM Z06 CARPET.
We sell it to the public for $45 a yd(36"x60.5")

Let me know if you need some. Shipping might be kinda high to Hi, but we have it. No contracts have run out. GM has to have replacement materials available for 5-7 years after a model stops. I am buying directly from GM's TEIR 1 supplier that makes the stuff and I am in contact with them weekly, so don't be misled into thinking you have to buy something right away because someone makes a false claim. My info came "down the pipe" from the supplier themselves. The material comes from them 36" wide. I have other OEM carpet colors available as well and most of those are 80" wide. Pricing on the black for 1 sq yd. is $40.00 plus shipping.

im still making the template for my amp mount so i dont know exactly how much i will be needing yet. i may go with the factory black cabin carpet in the cabin side and go with the oem trunk carpet on the trunk side. so one side of the partition will be cabin carpet and the other will be trunk carpet. i want it to look clean and have someone say "wow i didnt know they came with that"
