Are you guys being serious or is this a "tongue in cheek" response about the rust on the rotors? The rotors are immediately cleaned the minute you start driving the car. Why would you worry about the rust?

You don't think I'm being serious?

Your car should never be in a situation that would make it dirty enough to require water. An occasional dusting with a California Duster, or at MOST a wipe down with Sal approved Zaino detailing spray with 100% American Virgin micro-kevlar towels. But water?!?!? Are you insane? Do you know what happens to these cars when they get wet?
What are you using there to clean your inner fender walls?? Looks great!

It's a product called Perfect Tire I believe (It's a spray tire shine). I got some of the stuff at Cosco a year ago and it works great in the fender wells.
The rotor covers are Contractor trash bags... as far as rust from washing, I try to avoid it if at all possible.. if you do as everyone suggests, and use the pads to dress off the rust, it will get deposited on the inside of your wheels...it has to go somewhere.. into the slots or into the holes. My car usually looks better and cleaner than when New, and it has over 60,000 miles on it...
