Nice mod but I'm not convinced on the color combo. I've heard from others who did this mod and they said that they went back to stock because it's a pain, you have to be extra careful because it will scratch very easily. Curious to know how it holds up in the heat.

Thanks all, I did the paint work. I haven't tried any painting for 20 years. Like some of you I am not convinced on the color combo. I am glad I kept the original pieces so I can revert if I decide too. Oh and slverc5 if you got all that for a $100 where did you hide the body? I know you had to murder'em to get it all that cheap.

Not for me personally. With my old eyes, I prefer my stock black leather, black carpet and black dash which reduces glare. Glare off of anything is a killer for my eyes. I have to wear polaroid sunglasses anytime I'm outside, or I get severe headaches. My tinted windows help alot too.

JMO, but from the pics it looks like too much metal flake in the paint. I second (or is it third) the opinion that it would look MUCH better with a black arm-rest pad.
Cheers,
Vaughn

Thought about this mod also, like on the C6. Is it the paint, or did you not sand the grain out of the plastic, cause it looks rough?
