I think the C5 emblem is even better looking than the C6's emblem! On second thought, I think the C5 has the best looking Corvette emblem ever.

"Baaadges? . . . Dun' need no stink'n baaadges!"

Still have the lettering on the rear facia. But no nose badge or trunk lid badge (Specter Werkes Vert). I like the cleaner look. And I like the look of that silver one with the rear facia letters filled in and smoothed! But my rear facia IS fiberglass. Body shop said if they filled it, there was a good possibility it would eventually crack and show that it was filled.

I am going on two years driven in all weather (even snow) and a few track events - No cracking...

I would think the fiberglass would be stronger then the factory one, you cn put as many layers behind as you want, i dont think you would have a problem.

I believe the fascia is hand layed fiberglass and no an SMC panel so you can rough it up and then lay in more glass. After grinding any high spots down, fill with fiberglass putty, sand it down again and fill the remaining low spots with a quality filler like evercoat's vette panel adhesive #870.

I got so many ideas stacked up, I'm not going to be done modding for a year.

I've done that with mine. Can't wait to do the shaved handles, and gas cap. Very clean look. I will not however get rid of the Corvette lettering in the back. I like the chrome accent.
