Default Remeasured car...

Measured the car tonite, and after 5 days, the rear was 27 1/2" - now it's 27" The front was 26 3/4" & is still the same - no change. The front still needs to come down some, any suggestions??

The front was 27 1/2" before lowering, & the rear was 28 3/4" Used the stock bolts.

Are you sure their cut? I dropped mine the same day you did and I measure 26 3/4 front and 27 3/4 back and I didn't cut anything. The odd thing is that the passenger side is an 1/8 inch higher

Maybe one of you has a Z51 suspension? Or something is different about your suspension? Maybe one of you has aftermarket shocks? Just guessing on my part.

So you just take the bolt out and then what, is that it. Besides getting new shocks(do you think I would be fine on stock Z shocks).

Take the bolt out... then get you a thin piece of rubber pad or something to put between the spring and the a-arm.. This keeps you from getting any noise from the spring rubbing on the A-arm.. And yes it's lower than just the cut bushings..

Stock Z shocks won't cut it in my opinion.. Get some Bilstein Sports.. They are designed for a lowered car..
