Window Valet, worth the price?
I've been looking at this product in the sponsored ads for years now, Window Valet.. Now I have an FRC and I would LOVE to have remote windows but for $150+ beans I just can't bring myself to it..
Anyone use it? thoughts?

I think it's a must have with a convertible - I love mine and to me it's worth every penny.

I am sorry, for vert owners, it is a great thing, for the rest of us, it is jsu plain lazy. Also if you have an aftermarket alarm (viper etc) you can add windows up/down for 50 bucks.

I just love mine and make use of it all the time. If I need to put something in the Vette, I just roll the windows down and drop whatever in the passenger seat and roll the windows back up. Another use is if I have to run into the store and my daughter wants to stay and listen to the radio, I can take the keys with me and turn on the accessory power for 15 minutes.

I have one and on a hot Texas day it's nice because it let's the stifling hot air out before I get in the car, also if your in a tight space it's easier to get in or out with the windows down...press the lock button 3 time and up you go. my .02
But, everything is relative, I guess....

I have a coupe with the window valet. Its very handy when getting into or out of the car when its parked in the garage. Space is tight and having the window down makes entry/exit much much easier. If you are concerned about the price, wait for one in the for sale section. If you find you don't like or need it, you will probably be able to sell it for what you paid.

It is great for opening/closing the windows when I have my vette on my trailer. Also good for getting out of car in tight spaces and being able to roll window up from outside of car!

This should have been standard equipment on all Vettes. The auto up/down windows feature makes it a "must have" for roadsters.

I have the valet in my Z06 and it's definetely worth it. If you are approaching your car on a hot day you can open the windows and let the heat out before you walk up and get in. If you are leaving your car and decide you should have closed the windows all the way or want to open them a crack to let warm air escape, you can do that without having to get back in. With all the money we spend on our cars, it's not that expensive for the convenience it provides.
