Default Engine for show

I'm getting ready to do Rte. 66 in San Bernardino in 2 weeks. Just ran out of Silicone f/engine. What should I replace it with? I know that some use Armourall, some Silicone-any suggestions?

Also, guys with black vets, are you all using zaino? Is that still the best product for black? Thanks!

go to an RV store and pick up a bottle of 303 Protectant ($14 or so) found out about it here on the forum, it's the best! The only thing I'll ever use. THROW OUT THE ARMOUR-ALL!!!
I'm getting ready for the '"Route" also, I'll be there Friday (16), and Sat. (17)

Melanie;
Your bio says your Vette is white. What happened?
I've found best product for a Black Vette is Not Zaino but something called Spectra Swirl Remover. Apply it with a Porter Cable and leave it bare is best for a show quality shine.
I wouldn't drive it without some kind of wax or sealer on it to keep bugs and crud from sticking, I guess Zaino would be as good as any.

My 10 out 0f 10 for my paint at a recent Concour's d'Elegance judging is all the proof I need to make the above statement. Ask Stockman about my shine.
