First off it all starts with the parents, they don't beat their a$$ when they need to. The stuff these kids get away with today would never fly with my parents. I'm 34 and when I was a teenager my father wouldn't hesitate to give me a beatdown for acting stupid.

Some people in this world shouldn't be allowed to breed for example....

Today's new age hippie parent: Why are you yelling at my son?

Me: Because your moron of a son put his handprints all over my Corvette!!!!!!

Hippie parent: Well it's just a car.

Me: Well FU(K YOU AND YOUR SON!!! NEXT TIME HE TOUCHES MY CAR I'LL BREAK HIS FU(KING HEAD!!!!!!

This actually took place while I was at a restaraunt and I saw the kid putting his hand prints all over the car while his parents were standing right there.

The look of shock on the parents faces was priceless when I started yelling.

Most of the time it's the parents fault so you need to beat the parents then kick the **** out of the kids!!!!!

Yesterday I was coming to an intersection and the light was green. A couple of 14 year olds just walked right out in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes. They took their sweeet time crossing too.
This is also not the first time this has happened. A few weeks back some kids just standing in the road would not move out of the way.
I hope they out grow this otherwise the future is looking very dim (witted)....

Happens here in NY also......they deliberately cross the street as slowly as they can, and they stare at you as if to say, "What are you looking at?" Sorry......but when I was growing up....we would get our asses kicked for such disrespect. In today's world, they know you can't touch them.
Accidents happen!!!!!!!

Richie, I agree 100%. Part of the blame is also law enforcement. Parents are also prosecuted for disciplining the kids. Granted, some should be but then you hear these other stories.

My wife is a teacher and she says that many of the parents are to blame. She tells me stories where parents tell their children they don't have to do the homework that is assigned and then later tey talk to her about raising their childs grades.

she also says she gets a lot of "That is not how my child would act." Like my wife is lying about your child running around like an idiot.

Heck, when I was a freshman in highschool, then in college, you respected the older people and respected people in general....but when I was a SR in h.s., the kids would talk back and show no respect...same thing when I became a sr in college a few years back....and it is only getting worse...too much leway by parents and not teaching their children how to act (please not all blame on parents, just some)

Parents need to start "beating" their kids, when I was young and I did something stupid I was gauranteed a *** whooping from Mom.
these days parents can't do that cause people will call the police and report child abuse.... and the kids will just talk back. I was at a party the couple months ago, and there was a kid proabably about 12 years old and he had did something wrong and his father confronted him about it, NO JOKE the kid punched him and pushed his father away.
my jaw just dropped, the fathers reply, "hey, [son] that's not nice"

if it was my MOM that kid would be running for his life....!!

SIGH.... what will come of the new generation of kids...

turbo-charge the car and put a TurboXS TYPE-RFL BOV, and when people walk in front of you BLOW OFF at them I gaurantee they will start running, I did this all the time in the TALON, got people thinking twice about crossing when they shouldn't. Damn that BOV was "Really F'inkg Loud" (RFL). Sometimes I miss that turbo spool.. and Blowing Off.

anyways... NEXT TIME HIT THEM, 50points for non moving targets, and 50 + 100 bonus points for moving targets!

Hey did Mike ever get the ZO6?

In Germany, everyone (for the most part) has more respect for the rules of the road whether they are motorists, bicyclists or pedestrians. My DRLs throw German drivers off sometimes... After a quick look, I think they think I'm about to turn so they turn in front of me at intersections occasionally but other than that driving over here is better and safer. It's a costly privilege to drive here and they take it seriously.

I can't talk much since I don't have kids, but I wish American children were learning more respect for the relatively easy lives they have.

You can thank the Civil Liberty Lawyers for providing to much freedom where no body is reasponsible for their own actions. People are creating court cases where none really exists, and courts are granting settlements.

Kids can steall a car run from the cops, flip them off, crash and win money from the city. The criminal has more rights than the hard working Honest American. It's just plain stupid, there has to be an end to this madness!

My crazy brother installed a diesel truck's airhorn under the hood of his 97' Camaro for just such occassions. It seems to cut thru the "fog". It tends to clean out the kids systems as well. God help me but I love the smell of napalm in the morning!
