Hey Tom, finally made the arrangements at work to be off Friday & Saturday for the FunFest!
It took lots of begging, pleading, & damn near having to promise my first born son to do it, but I'll be there for at least a full day Saturday!
Now got to try and find a room somewhere close.
Any suggestions?
See ya' there and maybe have that cold beer with you now!

This is where Roscoe is staying and also hosting his Fri night bbq. It's right in town, not far from anything.
I would imagine many other hotels are experiencing cancellations too, it would be worth calling several of them. Someone in the Great Lakes forum also posted a room available, although he's got it for Thurs night too,

We WERE going but now we're not..DANG!!!
So.. I just cancelled our room for Friday and Saturday night at the Ramada in Vandalia, IL. 2707 Veterans Ave. 618-283-1400
I have no idea how many rooms they might have, or if they overbooked, but like I said, I just cancelled for Friday and Saturday evening.
