No use feeling guilty about nailing the car every now and then. The car can certainly take it.

Several times a day!
The residential road from my house ends at a T intersection to a 55mph 2 lane. Seem to bang into the rev limiter every morning there
. Next T intersection I hit opens up to a 70mph 4 lane and I'm red-lining 1st and 2nd there
. Then there is the off ramp from the 4 lane into Fort Hood that I run in 2nd gear around 5500 rpm just to I can blip the throttle and slide the vette out as the ramp dumps into another road. Then, once work is done..... I get to do it all again in reverse!
God I love this car. I love living 30 minutes from work on open country roads. So much fun and still staying +/- 10mph or so from the speedlimit. Only thing I'm not loving is my tire life....
Well, maybe not digging my fuel economy either. The only mods I have are the blackwing and a B&B Bullet catback but my driving style keeps my mpg down to the low low 20s during my commute.

i nail it almost everytime i drive it.
I bring new meaning to the phrase drive it like you stole it.
my favorite is in the morning going to class, i'll come around a corner very slow, get her straight, ride 1st to about 3k and punch it .. the car slows and the backend sees some swaying action ..
.. did I mention i love my car.
a buck twenty is nothing to me anymore.
