I have one, very short, steep on-ramp on the way to work. So every morning that I don't have a little old lady in a mini van ahead of me I let her rip. I usually get to around 75-80 at the top of the ramp, and, at that speed, I'm ready to merge into normal traffic Most people hit about 40-45 at the top and cause all kinds of back ups on the expressway as people have to brake for them. I actually think my way is safer, but tell that to the cops...

I have the pleasure of driving through two perfect back-to-back S-curves that end at a stop light as I exit my appartment complex every day. I nail it as I turn out of the complex... reach 60 before I reach the first curve, maintain that spead through both curves, come to a stop at the light... never any cops, three lanes to use, no traffic, long straight-stretch... I nail it every day.

Repeat in reverse on the way home.

I bought my Vette to drive it... I drive it as the 350 hp awesome sports car it is and I love it EVERY DAY.

after reading all this, guess that's way Cops look for vette's. So far I've been lucky.

Default Feeling Lucky

Every time I’m feeling lucky. Saturday, Red Lined 2nd and Rev-Limiter scared the crap out of me. Hate that thing. Any way, I do 100mph every day. Dive it Like You Stole It!

Its almost as much fun to pee off the old lady, as runnin' her up thru three gears. Wife starts bitchin' as soon as I start to "ease" her up. She knows what's commin' and I never aim to disappoint. Lordy, its fun.

when I had my 01 coupe automatic, I nailed it often, but not all the time. Now that I have the 03 coupe 50th anni. with 6-speed. I HAMMER IT EVERY CHANCE I GET!!!!!

STICK VS. AUTO ?????? If you really want to feel everything the vette has to offer Get behind the wheel of the 6-speed. WOW/ gonna need some tires.
