I have one on mine, it's for corvettes built for shipment to Canada. You can toggle between MPH or kPH (kilometers). You might also notice screwy oil pressure gauge numbers. You can also toggle between miles and kilometers on your odometer.
A Canadian 'Vette with Washington plates being sold by an Oregon used car dealer. Strongly suggest NOT bidding without some kind of vehicle history report. Buyer would likely be at least the third owner.

Being the fact that Canada, Washington, and Oregon are a stones throw away really doesnt make it that big of a deal.
I dont know if you realized this but it almost 2006. If that car was purchased late 1999, that would make 3 owners in over 5 years..Thats no biggie at all. He!!, My ex-wife has had more husbands in 5 years than this car has had owners.
Shes probably been "Driven" harder too

I am sure that you had a point there somewhere. Mine was a suggestion that a prospective buyer get a history report (for the car, not your wife.) Clones from Quebec are a major issue, as are salvage and rebuild problems (again, car not wife). Canada has much different titling laws, including no titles in several provinces, just registrations, which are easy to duplicate or fake.
Could be a good reason that there has probably been at least two previous owners. Could also be reasons that a new owner would not want to deal with. Just urging caution.
Wierd, I was in Canada the other day, and I had mine set on metric. There's a few back roads up there by my cottage I like to mess around on, and I ran out of speedometer rather quickly. I wondered what they did about that...
