Advice on high mileage




And here's a wave!

mine has 30k miles of running modified...nothing is broke yet.





If you can get a C5 for $11K, its a steal. 97K miles is nothing. A guy with Acura will tell you that. And he'll also tell you that his car is "Loaded" with leather seats, stereo, moonroof...etc, etc, and will sell for $12K. So, now doesn't this deal look so much better. A C5, is a the best Corvette made so far (aside from C6, which I'm still not sure of). Its a proven car, no questions about it. A dealer would ask $18K for it, and settle at $14-$15K easily. How I know? A dealer down the street from where I live just sold a Black 98 coupe for $17.5, with 100K miles on it. Thats all you need to know...
