well i found a 98 silver with gray leather 6 speed with 62k on the clock. He was asking 19,800 and he just called me and said he would take 16.8 . I really want a red with black, i don't mind the silver but i'm not a big fan of the gray leather. Do you guys think i should look around more or is this a fair deal, and should i hold out and hope i find a red with black.
THANKS STEVE
If I make payments on a car it better be one that I LOVE!! Vettes are like a city bus. If you miss one, another one always comes along! Wait for your dream car unless you can really warm up to this one. I wanted Mag red but ended up with Electron Blue with grey interior because of a great price and super low miles. I warmed up to it at first sight and have not regretted the decision but would never have bought it just on price alone. I don't ever want to make payments [ or in my case pay cash] on something I don't really like. It's not worth it at any price. Good luck!
I think I would dissagree with everyone else. That is a great price. As long as it is in good condition. Buy it and then sell it for more later. Or hell for that price paint the thing whatever color you want!! The gray interior is a very nice look!
If you dont want it, let me know what state you are in. I might come out there and buy it!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the gray leather. It didn't do much for me when I was looking at a mag red vette with gray interior. I ended up with the Electron blue with black interior that was parked about ten feet away. So happy that I decided to stick with a black interior....I'd hold out for a black interior. Who knows you might even come across a silver vette with a black interior...
There will be a lot of vettes and colors out there for you to find.
I agree with likittydo-if you wait for the car with everything and all the colors you want, especially in a used car, you may die of old age! For $20k or so, if you can find a clean car, you can't be real picky!! Just my opinion.
Thanks for all the opinions. I'm going to take a look at the car agian this weekend and i'll get the vin and run a car fax on it. I'm located in Mass and the car is in RI so if i'm not intrested i'll post the info for the car. Thanks agian for the help. Steve
