IMO, It's comes down to three things
1) The site owners/moderators. They have provided the platform, we play by their rules. I thank them.
2) The members. What benefits the members as a whole, generally benefits the site.
3) The payings vendors. As long as they are good intentioned and provide a fair shake to the members, they have right to make a living and store away a few nuts. It is an open platform for all members and vendors equally.

whatever, ill tell my story here. it was saturday morning, i wasnt "pushing" it. 6th gear, creeped up to 92mph... got pulled over by an... econoline... yes the big hulking ford vans. I kept my mouth shut, didnt say anything, just yes sir, no sir, thank you sir. He assigned me 92 in a 50 (not reckless thankfully) and 520 dollar fine with a max of 5 points. (no laser/no radar) I have a friend who is a judge and he recommended a lawyer to me, so i think im set in that regard. i just feel stupid that this happened because i wasnt even having fun going fast... i was just cruising... stupid stupid stupid... ya live and ya learn i guess.

Wally,
I got a 83 in a 45. Cost me $675.00. Was going to cost $800.00 but I went to court and pleaded stupid. The judge cut me a break, although not a big one.
If the the cop didn't have radar, then I would get a lawyer and fight it. Seems like you have a good case.

an econoline pulled you over? how did it pace you?
yeah, im not so worried about the money, thatll just cost me once. im worried about 5 points + geico... so im paying the premium for a lawyer, hoping he can get the points knocked down.

You should have been on the Ice Cream Run with us on Saturday. Here is a pic from someone's speedo on their way home.
Oooo, that's very bad. But imagine 35+ Vettes traveling together in a line, and at times hitting 130+.....very fun!
Last time the club I belonged to did that, a couple of guys had to re-paint their front "bumper" from the sheer sandblast effect. If you do this, keep a gap.
Oh, sorry for the off topic.. I miss Z06vette.com too...
