Hi All: I'm going to purchase some documentation for my '99 from the Corvette museum but would like everyone's opinion on which is better the build sheet or the window sticker. I believe the museum offers both for around $75.
Also: Anyone know how to find out who all the previous owners were? My car has had three........ I've got the last one but need the first two.

I'd get both items, but if you only can get one, get the window sticker. Once you have the window sticker, find the dealer and see if they have records on the first purchaser if it was sold there. Then you can go from there.
If you join the NCM at the same time you order (and joing is a GOOD thing! ) you will get the NCM member discount with your build sheet and window sticker purchase.
It may seem like a lot of money up front, but not only do you get the documentation for the car, you help to support the National Corvette Museum.

all the option codes are in the glove box or on the rear comp. cover on the early c5's, there's the build sheet, the window sticker-other than proving someone spent between 38-52k at one time, i don't get it; it's all about the people and knowledge shared at events and shows, don't get caught up in the paperwork stuff
don't get me wrong if the window stickers were 10-20 i would buy one too
