Color Matching Help - Interior!
I drive an ’03 Anniversary Coupe and just purchased an A-Pillar Gauge Pod for it. Of course, the Pod comes in black and the Corvette interior is Shale (per GM). The same color is used on the ’04 Commemorative Editions. The RPO codes on the glove box do not indicate interior paint colors – only exterior. Using the DuPont color chart pointed to a Pewter color. I purchased some paint and sprayed the part. The color is off – not enough brown in the mix – close but not close enough.
I’ll go back to my supplier for correction but I thought I’d pose the question:
Does anyone know the color codes for the interior colors on the ’03 Anniversary or ’04 Commemorative Editions? If I can get the actual codes, the paint mix should match.
