Respect-Corvette
Qucik question-
Been doing alot of reading on Corvettes and it seems to me, that the Corvette doesn't get the respect it deserves overseas. A lot of foreign press bash the Vette for a list of things.
Is it me or is it the The Vette vs. The World.

Could care less what the rest of the friggin' world thinks about my car or any other subject. Most of them are flamin' azzholes anyway!!!

Gotta admit that for a few years there, the Vette was not the greatest quality-built car out there and I think thats what they remember. Now that the C5's and C6's are what I think world class cars, they aren't ready to admit it and continue to praise everything except the Vette.
Government subsidies to the car companies and payoffs to the media over there have absolutely nothing to do with it, of course.

Times are changing. With the C5 and now the C6, opinions have definitely improved on the Corvette compared to all the other cars.

Thats because american cars were junk in the 70s and 80s. So twenty plus years of a crappy rep is hard to get out of.

and the 90s plus the 00s, at least we still have our own styles
we dont copy everything we see like Japan does(maybe we should) i have noticed that Pontiac loves copying BMW, they have been doing that for many years,but i digress,Vettes are one of a kind

Our Corvettes were born in the USA, they represent American muscle, and I for one am proud to own one.
