I cannot find where it is but I thought I heard someone say that there is a way to have your cell phone called when you alarm is going off. Is this true, if so how. I park a long ways away.

Haven't heard of this being possible, but who knows. If you do in fact find out this can be done, please share with the rest of us. Sounds like a very thing.

I have this...
It's part of Lo-Jack's Early Warning Package... it's a $300 option... I got it for free, so why not.
I test it every so often... quickest call I ever got was 90 seconds. Better than knowing 2 hrs later, when you come out of the movie theater.
I know some people say they wouldn't want their car back if it got stolen... I agree, but get a discount from the insur. co. and if it did get stolen, at least I can get started on the paperwork sooner.
$.02 deposited.
You can also look into a Viper or Python Pager alarm. They work up to a mile away and let you know the status of your alarm immediately (door open/glass breakage/trunk open/etc.)
