Sometimes I Hate Owning a Vette

Park my '99 4 blocks from the White House in DC one night. Next morning, windshield wipers arms were gone and hood was damaged. When I spoke to DC police they said crack heads like to use long metal items for crack pipes. Go figure!!!

This is an awful strange coincidence....I was behind a black Chevy dually truck for about 5 miles this afternoon. The left rear tailgate had a Corvette rear flags emblem attached! What color was the truck you borrowed?

Yea lifes delt you a bad hand owning that ole Vette and all some times it's hard to carry on. But suck it up and remember behind every silver lining there's a dark clo....... uh, something like that. And who can for get the old adage I use to complain about havin no coolness til I met a guy with no Vette or something like that. Get another $20 emblem for that car and try to keep the chin up

The only easy way I know of to remove decals without damage is with a hair dryer or heat gun. So maybe it was loose.
The emblem runs approx $25 at Ecklers, I just bought one for an engine cover.
Glad you had no serious damage. Its just the hassle going through it that sucks.
