Can’t mistake a C5
The other day I was out with my baby and saw a C6 Vert in silver. I did the wave and got none back.
I brushed it off and then realized on a retake that it wasn’t a C6……..it was a Viper!!
Is it me and my tied eyes are failed or have others made the same mistake?
The good news is that I’ve never mistaken a C5 for anything BUT a C5.

Back in the good old days (60's) I used to embarrass myself by waving at Opels.

The other day I saw a C6 coming up behind me, or so I thought. When it got next to me it was Viper. And the funny thing is that Vipers used to be pretty "wow, cool" regardless of your brand loyalty. This time I didn't even give it a second glance.

Ya, I'm not a big fan of Vipers. Wouldn't mind having a new '06 Z06 though!!

You have to look close to make sure it's not a Camero or especially a Firebird.

I've mistaken the C6 for a Viper too. Its the headlights that cause the confusion.
Finally though, I am starting to warm up to the C6. I still prefer the C5, but the C6 is growing on me.

Had the same experience on the freeway yesterday at dusk -- thought it was a viper some distance behind, but turned out to be a C6.

The C5 without BSM's can really look like a FireChicken from a distance.
